Inside the cabin
You'll enjoy a comfortable stay with family or friends sleeping in a spacious and cosy king bed, and two king single beds (bunks). There's high quality small kitchen with all the cooking equipment and appliances you’d find at home, a bathroom with a hot shower and a normal toilet and a compact and beautiful dining and lounge area that is framed by nature, there's also air con heating and cooling, and the dark interior and 360-degree glass walls are designed to immerse guests in nature.
Running on sun rays and rain water, it is completely off-grid, so your holiday is kinder to the environment.

Outside the cabin
The land surrounding the cabin is yours to explore. From rambles in 17 acres of pristine wilderness to wandering the 1km heritage walk around town, or watching wildlife by the Billabong, adventures in nature await. Wollombi Village is also only a short 20min walk away. All we ask is that you leave no trace.
Our first two cabins are in Wollombi, a historic village in the Lower Hunter, just 1 hour 45mins from Sydney. Once an important Aboriginal meeting place and a major junction on the convict trail, Wollombi now moves at a much slower pace, with charming family run cafes and restaurants, a country pub, local vineyards and historic 19th- century buildings.
Wollombi Village is an easy bush walk away, where the locals will share their favourite hidden treasures, or discover a local Aboriginal Cultural Guide Walk through the Yengo National Park or visit some local wineries.
Laguna Village and the vineyards in the beautiful valley of Broke and the main Hunter Valley are also close by.
Or, simply do nothing but enjoy the views over the Billabong from the wood-fired hot tub.

Yes we provide you with two helpful camping guides as part of our booking confirmation email.
The Cabin guide will explain the address of the cabin, how to access the cabin, how things work and what to bring etc
The Hot Tub Guide will explain how to light and heat the woodfired hot tub safely and easily.
You will also find a copy of these detailed guides at your cabin. Please leave them at the Cabin for the next guests or there will be a charge.
Can I take my dog?
Unfortunately not. We encourage local wildlife to roam freely and safely on our property for guests to enjoy.
What’s your cancellation policy?
- Guests must cancel at least 15 days before check-in to receive a full refund less a small processing fee.
- Guest cancellations that occur 8-14 days prior to check-in will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount.
- If a reservation is cancelled on or less than 7 days before check-in, guests will be charged the total cost of the reservation (including tax).

What do I need to bring?
Food, drinks, swimmers
In Winter Warm clothes, hat & gloves, outdoor shoes, raincoat.
In Summer A sun hat, insect repellant & sun cream. The countryside is cooler than the City in the evenings, so warm clothes are a good idea in summer for sitting around the outside fire pit in the evenings.
Is there heating and cooling?
Yes the cabin is heated and cooled by an air conditioning system.
There are also electric blankets for those extra cold winter evenings.
What’s included?
You’ll have everything you need and nothing you don’t.
This includes bath towels, pillows and bedding, salt & pepper, cooking oil, coffee pod machine, coffee pods, cooking equipment, cutlery, utensils, BBQ, gas hobs, hot water, shower and flushing toilet
Top tips
Please ensure you buy your food, milk and drinks before you leave home. Our cabins are remote, so popping to the local supermarket isn’t usually an easy option.
Don’t forget to fill up your car with petrol before you leave the City.
Is the Cabin easy to get to?
Yes all our Cabins are accessible by 2wd vehicles in normal weather conditions
Can kids come?
Kids are very welcome and free to stay but you must evaluate the risk of staying in the wilderness against the age and skills of your child before you book.
Parents bringing kids must accept full responsibility and liability for all risks and agree to take care to act safely around dirt tracks, unfenced dams, unfenced decks & patios, unfenced billabongs, fire pits & unfenced hot tubs, as well as local wildlife etc. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions regarding your responsibilities and liabilities.
